[The recording begins regularly enough. A deep voice intones with all the enthusiasm of a call center operator giving their rote pitch:]
Hello, this is Waver Velvet. Leave a short message with date, time, and aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...
[Suddenly there is an excited voice in the background clamoring for Waver's attention and not going to let up until Waver completely gives them exactly that.]
Stop! Idiot! Can't you see I'm trying to record something?!
... hold on! Hold on!
[This thing still on? Yes? Okay then...]
Give me your number! I'll call you back when I bloody well can!
[More excited cajoling and Waver squawking before the recording goes click!]
BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP
[Oh dear. Oh dear. ... Waver hasn't gotten around to changing this, has he? You're hearing it, after all. Maybe you should... remind him to change his voice mail message. After you leave your message.
Remember! Leave a number!]

Welcome, Caster. I was waiting for you.
[Those that don't know god Zhuge Liang very well or only in passing could easily take that stranger for him. If only Waver was a little more tanned. He does look familiar though. What's even more surprising he definitely is a Servant. So how on Earth did he get here without raising alarm?]

Okay... calm down. If it's a shinki... calm down. Don't walk outside expecting murder-death-kill. ... even if it pays to be prepared for it just in case. Waver breathes and makes for his door.
... uh...
Waver blinks as he steps outside and sees a stranger that could easily pass for a brother with how similar he looks to him. Just a little more tan... and... he's seen him in the Reality Marble.
He's not a shinki by that opening statement. No one here addresses him by his class name. God? Or just summoned here by Iskandar?]
Oh. I see.
I hope it wasn't too long. [My, this is awkward. Eumenes. He's been compared enough to know this is Eumenes. Now what class is he? Caster? He did get past his wards. Or can he get away with using the True Name... most Heroic Spirits are touchy about that one.] Would you like to come in for tea?
[Some basic hospitality is called for while he adjusts to having his comrade on his doorstep. Comrade. Yes. With his death, he should be joining the Ionian Hetairoi when he and Iskandar return. Comrade. Wrapping his head around having comrades, even knowing he's part of the army, is hard. Chaldea was his first experience with anything approaching that. Concepts he's still learning.]
... I admit, this is a little surprising. Have you woken up on these shores? Or have you been summoned forth?

[Eumenes, for it is indeed him, flashes a smile that could rival Iskandar's.]
Tea? I'd love to!
[He stands up throwing the peach pit behind him and saying words too quiet to be audible but Waver has heard enough of Greek from Iskandar to recognize the language's rythm and melody. In a split second he realises what he did and raises both hands in apology.]
That was not a spell, I was just blessing your garden. It is beautiful.
[And yet he does not reply to Waver's question. At least not directly. He came her for a reason that can serve as an answer.]
Do you know where the king is?

... beside the sheep need shearing. [Own sheep. Must sheer as part of caretaking.] That might be today.
[It also answers the question about summoning, if he's asking after Iskandar. Woken up, then, unless there's a new way people are coming to these shores. Also class. Caster, then.
Waver opens the door of the Temple for him. Neither of his shinki are home - otherwise he's sure the seeming double Waver would be commented on.]
Oh. Don't worry. I know. [His ancient Greek isn't perfect - he can send Iskandar to the floor rolling with laughter when he screws things up - but it's enough to tell with the lack of sense of a spell's mana. He blinks when he realizes he's unconsciously mirroring Eumenes with hands slightly raised and he flushes momentarily.] Thank you. I've been given a very lovely place, and my shinki have done wonders with what's already here.
I'd introduce you, but they're out at the moment.
